iPhone iOS4 Game Developer “Tapulous” acquired by Disney

Tapulous, the company who published few remarkable games for the iPhone and iPad is acquired by Disney. Earlier it had published music games Tap Tap Revenge for iPhone and Tap Tap Radiation for the iPad. The idea behind to join hands on hand is to collaborate in the development of games and entertainment to focus the mobile arena. No official release is yet on air but it is expected that the founder of Tapulous, Bart Decrem is ready to join Disney as the “VP” of the joint staff.

Tapulous has been acquired by Disney. The iPhone gaming startup with several hits on its hands was founded by Bart Decrem, who will join Disney as a VP. COO Andrew Lacy is also joining Disney as a VP. Disney is very interested in social and mobile gaming, having recently invested in Playdom’s $33 million round.
