Comex: Jailbreak Firmware 4.2 Could be Late, Problems with Cydia
Through a new message posted on Twitter, Comex, the author of JailbreakMe, returns to talk about the jailbreak firmware 4.2 which, according to the indications given by the hacker could still be late because of some problems encountered when installing Cydia.
As you know there are a number of developers and hackers who are currently working on a jailbreak, including Chpwn which is bringing the latest changes and corrections. As stated by Comex, and then, when the focus is moved to the compatibility of Cydia, rather than on finding new vulnerabilities in the system. Let us recall that anyone who has saved SHSH certificates can be updated to firmware 4.1 to 4.2 and iOS run, right now, a kind of jailbreak tethered (the device must be connected to a computer on every reboot) with the most popular tool currently available.
Although this type of solution is not yet available, all suggests that it will be soon, as developers will update their plans by making them compatible with iOS 4.2 when the new update will be available publicly.
